Each of us would look towards an exciting future and that is what keeps us moving with our life routines. We endure a lot of ups and downs at time and remain positive as we do visualize our life few years down the road as overall successful and have attained the desired goals of our life. It’s an interesting question to ask an ambitious person like me because there are many things I can see myself in 10 years time.
First and foremost, when I look into the future, I see myself successful and happy. I can see myself attaining a reputable and well paying job in a big firm. Besides that, I would own a beautiful house and a nice sports car parked in front of my bungalow by then. To enhance this even further, I would be touring all over the world. Even though I picture myself in all that, I have never worried much about how I will get there because I am currently studying in a world class recognized institution which means I can work in any international firm because my degree will be recognized all over the world. Moreover, I choose to be a “warrior” of my own successful destiny rather than being a “worrier”. Many dreams have become a reality when they exercise calmness rather than being hasty, impatient or indecisive.
Looking at the gist of my history, it was a major disappointment for an ambitious boy like me to realize how hard I needed to work to get me where I want in my life when I entered high school. I fully attended all classes, completed my tasks and assignment efficiently and was a disciplined boy at school. I thought that as long as I graduated with decent grades I would be able to get into college and really focus then. But as high school quickly came to an end I realized that I was not as well prepared for college, as I would have liked. When I entered college to do my Canadian pre university programme (ICPU), I realized that my overall attitude has changed. I began to concentrate more on my studies and less on any irrelevant matters. When I maintained to discipline myself, my grades improved too and so did my attitude towards education. Currently, I am working very hard for a bright future, I just started my degree course last October 2008 and I am very sure I will graduate with flying colors.
In ten years time, I would be a full blown successful Software Engineer and have completed my Masters and PhD by then. I wish to create my very own software and sell it to Multi-National Giant companies like Microsoft and Macintosh. This would be primarily because those companies are always on the move trying to be the best by introducing new softwares which draw the publics’ interest in trying out their products. As a software engineer, I can help those giant companies to prove the publics that they are the best by introducing them to new software. It is at this very point that I can earn a huge amount of money and make a fortune that will contribute to achieving my dreams. Besides being crazy about computers, I am also very much into music, I wish to do Sound Engineering later on in my life and furnish my room with all the latest technological gadgets and equipments.
Last but not least, I can see myself as a productive individual in the society. I wish to do charity works and help the under privileged group as they truly deserve the care and attention. I would do my best to provide them to lead a better lifestyle. I also wish to spread my knowledge and understanding on computers to the younger generations. After achieving my dreams, I wish to take my family on a world tour because I love to go touring as I have never been to Europe and Middle East. I am very excited about my future, I just cant wait to finish my studies ASAP!!!
